Customer Reviews

Wrestlemania X85
Wrestlemania 18 has what a PPV should have.

Intercontinental Championship
William Regal V Rob Van Dam
Good opener that really kickstarts the show. Also an impressive performance by the ref too! 8/10

European Championship
DDP V Christian
Two birds with one stone! A grudge match and a title match at the same time! 8/10 funny when Christian has a paddy in the ring

Harcore Championship
Maven V Goldust
OK hardcore action but it gets alot better when somebody takes advantage of the 24/7 rule which leads into a long chain of people being champ. It changes hands about five times! 7/10

Kane V Kurt Angle
This gets off to an annoying start with Kurt slaging off canada. However it picks up and gets better. The ending sucks though... 7/10 decent match.

No DQ
Ric Flair V Undertaker
Well, Big Evil certainetaly had a more exiting match than his
brother. I was dissapionted that neither off them toock advantage of no DQ. Very exiciting first time you watch it (even though its predictable) but after the first time it gets incredibly boring. 9/10 wasn't a waste of space on the card.

Stone Cold V Scott Hall (with Kevin Nash)
Fairly predictable but almost as exiciting as Rock v Hogan! You will not get bored with this match at all! 10/10 Brilliant match!

Edge V Booker T
OK but brilliant the best part was when Edge did his own spinaroonie! Worst match on the card, but I wouldn't say it was bad. 6/10

Four Team elimination match
Billy and Chuck V Hardy Boyz V APA V the Dudleyz
Poor stacy! She is slapped on her cheek (not the one her face) by Jeff! Some good moves used but as far as I can remember there is no 3D!! Good match but like many of the other matches on the card yep you geussed it: the ending sucked again! 8/10

The Rock V Hulk Hogan
THE BEST GRUDGE MATCH EVER? The wrestling is good and the atmosphere is amazing. As I have only just got into wrestling I cannot fully appreciate how impossible and amazing this match is. How it is not the main event I don't know. Amazing ending too. You will love this match even if you take a side (like me) 15/10

Triple Threat for Womens Championship
Jazz V Lita V Trish Stratus
I was suprised at how good this match was. It wasn't brilliant but for a womens match it was very good! 7/10

Undisputed Championship
Triple H V Y2J (with Stephanie)
Great way to end wrrestlemania great moves used and Triple H gets his revenge on Steph. The are other great moments in this match one of which Y2J reverses the pedigree and send the game flying through the commentry desk! Amazing... 10/10 but not as good as Rock V Hogan

Extras include Wrestlemania moments, Byte this with Vince, The aftermath on RAW and post-match interveiws. I rate the extras 9/10.

Overall: if you like wrestling you should by this It has tense grudge matches and brilliant title matches the only thing it lacks is hardcore action it does have the hardcore match and No DQ but both of these lack weapons. I rate this DVD 10/10

I was one of the 68,237 fans......4
Yup, i was one of the 68,237 fans in attedance for Wrestlemania X8 in the Toronto Skydome. Not the best Wrestlemania, X-7 holds that accolade, but it was good nontheless. RVD/Regal was good, same for Angle/Kane 4-corners Tag (Hardys/Billy Chuck/Dudleys/APA)DDP/Christian and Edge/Booker T. Hogan/Rock was nothong short of electrifying. Austin/Hall could've been better, due to Austins problems with the WWE. Womens Title should not have been after Hogan/Rock, the crowd really didn't get into it. The main event seemed rushed, but the crowd popped for a HHH victory. Overall, a good show, but not excellent. If your'e a huge WWE fan, buy it...i will.

One of the best 'Manias ever!5
WrestleMania X8 was one of the best WrestleManias ever. Why? Because Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho took on HHH in a grueling title match, Scott Hall and Austin tore the house down, it had a Ric Flair vs Undertaker blood bath, and an icon vs icon match- Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs The Rock! Other good matches included the William Regal/RVD IC title match, the Jazz vs Trish vs Lita match, and an amazing grudge match between Kurt Angle and Kane! This DVD is worthy in anyone's collection. You should deffinately buy it!
