A valuable addition to your RHCP collection
While a little light on content, this DVD release of the excellent "By the Way" adds a new dimension to the song itself by offering a 15 minute documentary on the making of the video - featuring a guest appearance by everyone's favourite unhinged fan/taxi driver, who you may recognise from Scary Movie......
The documentary also features some good interview / commentary footage from the band themselves which is always nice to hear.

There's also an alternative performance version of the video which does away with the car chase footage and concentrates solely on the band - which kinda changes the way the song comes across - watch and you'll see what I mean.......

All in all, a valuable addition to your RHCP collection - even if it does lack the live version of "Search and Destroy" which meant I had to buy the cd single as well.
