One of the best albums of 2002?!5
This is nothing short of magnificent and where did it come from!
Sixty Watt Shaman have released 2 albums prior to this; Ultra Electric, and Seed Of Decades they were good but nothing really special.
However, this album IS special. This is the album SWS needed to make.
The best record to compare it to is Down 2 Bustle In Your Hedgerow; like this its, heavy, soulful, southern rock.
But this somehow has more to it than Down 2, its more powerful, soulful and the music is certainly more sophisticated and just sounds a damn sight better. Scott Reeder, of Kyuss/Unida fame did an awesome job of producing, the album sounds really raw and almost like a live performance its that intense.
In short this is probably the best underground metal album released in 2002, you'll do hard to beat it. Brilliant.

If you're already familiar with SWS this will NOT disappiont!

Nothing much more to add...5
Just to got say I totally agree with the other guy. This album is mighty. The opening track Nomad is worth the entrance price alone. The Mill Wheel is also great, an acoustic-fried chill out that offers a refreshing change to the thunder of the other tracks. But the best is left to the end. Finishing off with the jam epic All Things Come to Pass which not only features the legendary Wino on lead but also has Scott Reeder playing the bass too. It's the first time these two have played together for about ten years in the the massively influential The Obsessed. You just have to love it...
