Yawn! Thank goodness for digital music stores...
Beyoncé was always going to be the most famous one of Destiny's Child, taking creative control behind the group, she was and still is a huge star.

I imagine most people will have bought this album on the basis of the strong singles. This however doesn't stop her producing a really bad debut record.

After the singles, the rest of the album heads into slow jam / ballad territory which really bogs the record down and makes it quite boring.

Download the songs you like and forget the rest.

Riding on Crazy In Love
Surprising myself, I bought this album after only one song...and was disappointed. Sure, "Crazy in Love" was undoubtdly a hit of the summer and I was counting on the rest of the albumto be of the same calibre.Wrong.

In my opinion the only decent tracks are the first four, "Crazy in Love", "Naughty Girl", "Baby Boy" etc and the last two, "Work it Out" and "Bonnie and Clyde '03". The rest can be skipped on account of being dreary,oversickly and pointless("Signs" particularly). Nowhere near as great as the Destiny's Child "Survivor" album. Let's hope "B'Day" is better.

A brillant debut album from beyonce
I love this album, all the tracks are great, it still sounds fresh in 2008.I brought this album in gatwick airport before i went on holiday. I just could not stop listening to it while i was on holiday.

At first i didn't like hip hop star, but now i am addicted to this song.
My other favourite tracks are be with you, yes, signs featuring missy elliot, speechless. That's how you like it featuring her boo jay-z.I love the beautiful ballad the closer i get 2 u featuring luther vandeross. You need this album in your colection now! You won't be disapointed.
