CD Description
Rife with tossed-off obscenities, FAMILIAR TO MILLIONS captures Manchester's favourite sons shining in an element whosedynamic vibe is as much a result of the crowd's rabid feedback as it is of the band's tight delivery. Opening with the shambling sample-heavy instrumental "F**kin' In The Bushes",Oasis takes an electrifying stroll through their canon focusing heavily on their first two albums, DEFINITELY MAYBE and(WHAT'S THE STORY) MORNING GLORY. For a change, frontman Liam Gallagher is on his best behavior which means he stayed on stage for the whole show, admonished brother Noel to writemore songs like "Supersonic" as his mates kicked into the intro and dedicated "Cigarettes & Alcohol" to the rowdies in the front row.
In addition to playing larger-than-life versions of "Live Forever" and the B-Sides "Acquiesce" and "Step Out", Oasis flipped off the bad-boy switch long enough todeliver a stunning reading of "Don't Look Back In Anger" that attained another level thanks to the stadium full of fansproviding the chorus. A neat trifecta of "Champagne Supernova" along with covers of The Beatles ("Helter Skelter") and Neil Young ("Hey Hey, My My [Into The Black]") neatly provides an over-the-top encore.

CLASSIC STUFF!!!!4
This is an amazing live album from one of the greatest live bands ever, second only to perhaps Led Zeppelin. As an Oasis fan, I got this album for Christmas last year and I was far from disappointed. It contains pretty much all of the band's greatest hits, and nearly all of them sound better than they do on the original albums. The tracks are as follows:

1.Go let it out (7/10)
A great song to open off and a catchy tune, although the best is still to come.

2.Who feels love (5/10)
The only bad song on the album. Unfortunately I did not enjoy this one. A combination of weak lyrics and a tune that never quite gets off the ground make this song not to my taste.

3. Supersonic (8/10)
Brilliant, this song is a stroke of genius. It's a song that you can listen to over and over again and it's one of the best tracks on the album.

4. Shakermaker (7/10)
Again, a pretty good tune. It has a quite slow rhythm, and it works.

5. Acquiesce (7/10)
One of the few songs on the CD where the live version is not as good as the album version. Still, a brilliant live performance of Oasis' greatest ever B-side.

6. Gas Panic (8/10)
This is one of my favorites on the CD. Just like it says at the beginning; "It's a good f**king tune, this!"

7. Roll with it (8/10)
Splendid, quick tempo song that is very catchy.
8. Wonderwall (9/10)
This IS my favorite song on this CD. The live version is played at a tempo which is about 50 times faster than the album version, and is about 50 times better, too! Magnificent.

9. Cigarettes and Alcohol (9/10)
Forget Elvis Presley, this is proper rock n' roll. This is a dazzling track, one where you will find yourself picking up an air guitar and playing it half way through! The only thing I hate about this one is the long and pointless guitar solo at the beginning.

10. Don't look back in anger (8/10)
A solid live performance of one of the band's most famous songs. Complaints; they let the audience sing the chorus which is irritating, and it's not as good as the album version.(but then again, it is almost impossible to top such a classic track.)

11. Live Forever (8/10)
Classic! A marvelous example of the band's original style of rock.

12. Champagne Supernova (8/10)
Fantastic, slow tune. Quite similar to Shakermaker. Again, a song that sounds much better when played live, and it lasts a long time.

13. Rock n'Roll Star (7/10)
Last, but not least, a very apt song to finish this amazing album off. The crowd were really into this one.

If you are thinking of buying this CD, then you definitely must. Trust me, you will not find a better live album like this around today. Also a must for all Oasis fans.

Still 'Avin' It Large!!4
This record of Oasis’ July 2000 shows at Wembley Stadium displays the band on top confrontational form, taunting and teasing the audience and patrolling the stage as though they owned it. Each of the 13 tracks, culled mainly from their debut album, “Definitely Maybe” is given a rapturous audience welcome, with Supersonic and Cigarettes & Alcohol going down particularly well and (then) new material Go Let It Out and Who Feels Love already welcomed as firm favourites. Both Gallagher brothers are on fine form, Noel on lead guitar and sharing vocal duties with Liam. Drummer Alan White’s propulsive force and bassist Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs’ prominent, dark undercurrents ably augment them.

Best live cd ever!5
Oasis are the best live band of all time! So of course this live cd by them is amazing! And the best band in the world playing at wembley is not a thing to miss! The songs off the album Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants sound alot better than the album versions! All the hits are also played. This cd is a re-release. First came the red Familiar to Millions which was made up of two cds. This cost too much, so Oasis decided to put out a single cd version. That first of all cost alot less for fans to buy and second only including the highlights of the concert.
