Customer Reviews

One of the top five WWE PPV's of 2002.5
One of the top five WWE PPV's of 2002 (along with Wrestlemania, Backlash, Summerslam and Survivor Series).
The matches:

Table Match
Bubba and Spike Dudley v Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero
A very very good opener to the show. Some great bits of wrestling, and some great bits of table action. Great! 8/10

Cruiserweight Championship
Jamie Noble v Billy Kidman
A top quality piece of Crusierweight action. A typical match from the two, and a very good match. It showed Noble's Brawling and technical ability and Kidman speed really well. 8/10

European Championship
Jeff Hardy v William Regal
I can't stand Regal, but it was a decent match. Perfectly acceptable. Decent enough. No complaints. 7/10

John Cena v Chris Jericho
Great match! This continued Cena's early push in his WWE career. A good build up and a good match as well. 7.5/10

Intercontinental Championship
Rob Van Dam v Brock Lesnar
Fantastic! It shows both mens obvious talent as well as Brock's big, powerful image and RVD's fast paced, quick feet style and his never say die attitude. Possibly - no probably match of the night. 8.5/10

No DQ, No Countout
Booker T v Big Show
With Big Show in it was quite rightly kept short. It featured some nice spots. Nice too see the Harlem/Houston Hangover again! 7/10

Tag Team Championship
Hulk Hogan and Edge v Lance Storm and Christian.
Not very good - it just seemed to never get going, but it did improve toward the end. A good finish too. A decent tag match. 6.5/10

Undisputed Championship
The Rock v Kurt Angle v The Undertaker
They later called it the best Triple Threat in WWE history, and i can't argue. It contends with RVD v Brock for match of the night. Depsite it was obvious who was going to win, it was so well done I almost belived I didn't know who was going to win towards the end, as they do a great job of making each man look like he has a good chance of winning. 8/5/10

Why can't all WWE ppv's be like this. Even the worst matches would have been match of the night candidates on other WWE shows in the year. Best matches - RVD V Brock and Rock v Angle v Undertaker, but the Cruiserweight match, the Table match and John Cena v Chris Jericho all make it worth watching. Brilliant.
