Customer Reviews
Best Beat'em Up On The Gameboy.
I already have this game for my PS2 and it's wicked. But I like it even better on my gameboy as I can take out my frustrations wherever I go now. For a little hand held machine I think the graphics are great particularly on my new Advance SP which makes them al the clearer. I also actually enjoy the fact that it is a little less difficult to attain fatalities. I haven't had this much fun and escapism since I gave up my job as a drag queen ( Ha Ha!! )
Midways ripping yawn thumps onto gameboy advance
Anyone lucky enough to have spent money on the sickenly MK Advance could be forgiven for running a mile at the sight of this one.and while this stripped-down Mortal Kombat:Deadly Alliance is in a completely different league to the previous diobolical game, it comes as no surprise to find that its far less enjoyable to play then a full-size gamecube version.Almost half of the characters have been removed , along with most of the frames and animation. The controlls have been cut down to fit onto four buttons, and the fatilities are so basic they're not worth the effort . Compared to the best 2D fighting games , its way to easy to win by hammering away one or two moves.the graphics are much like Tekken 2 on GBA and look pretty ugly next to something like Street Fighter Alpha 3.As far as GB fighters go, a top notch conversion of Mortal Kombat 2 or MK trilogy would have been a better way for midway
