Great as always...
Robbie Williams definately knows how to do his job. Every single he releases definately is successful. He tries different types of music in all his albums, and I think that "feel" is quite different then what he normally does.
When I first heard "feel" I felt like dancing. It's a very melodic, intense and emotional song. Even though I don't like pop music I think that Robbie Williams is great and this single should be in your collection.
An under-rated song, but an over-used lyric style
I have a couple of critical things to say about this single, but I want to make it clear that I enjoy listening to it, and think it deserves more success than it has been getting (as an aside: I think it would have charted better if it hadn't been for the boring and inappropriate video!) The piano running through and the melody and harmonies in the verse are great. The chorus is a slight disappointment; clearly it is meant to be on the same level of "inspiration" as Angels, but it fails to capture that.
But overall it's good music and enjoyable.
I am so glad Robbie writes his own lyrics. He is a talented lyricist and speaks his mind. But I think he may have done one too-many songs about himself. In this song the lyrics about his own obsessions are beginning to feel a little stale. His feelings of loneliness, difficulties with forming relationships with women, sense of the spiritual, etc - these are all things which have contributed to his lyrics being so interesting. But now I have heard them a few too many times. I'm not saying his lyrics in this song are bad, just that I'd like to see him turn his talents to another topic perhaps?
Overall I think this is an under-rated single, and I'm still not bored of it!
LEGEND
i love this track, one of his best. As someone who cant stand 'Angels' this is one of Robbies highlights (my personal fav song). He's a legend, and long may he reign........
