top drawer 4
September 2002,and the event after the much lauded summerslam, unforgiven came and delivered in a fitting style, for the most part anyway.
The event started with an eight man tag that kept the crowd in fine voice and brought the best out of all involved,we had the unamericans who comprised of test, christian, lance storm and william regal against the team of bubba ray, kane, booker t and goldust. This was a fiery encounter that lasted a while but didnt bore or slow down, aggressive and pacey and pleasing,a great opener.
Next up we got chris jericho going up against ric flair,2002 was a good year for jericho in terms of him rising his stock in the company, here he went up against the 'naitch' and was far too clever for flair which was sad to see but thats the way it goes,i wasnt comfortable watching flair being made to look a lemon but both men cant win and this wasnt great but was clever.
Next up we got eddie guerrero in full heel mode against edge, who will always be better as a villain, this was a good match,in fact everyone knew it would be,went one way then the other, skills, cheating, the works hey,i thought this was a great match.
Next up was a tag team match,3-minute warning, jamal and rosey, against chuck and billy, this match had a stipulation that dragged on a bit throughout the night and wasnt the most tasteful especially when you consider alot of yappin weens watch this with their parents,i wont go into that here, this match was solid enough,it didnt lift my hair off but i liked it,good chemistry between the teams and rosey and jamal convinced me of their powers for sure.
Next up was the world title, rob van dam vs the champ triple h,these two men took a while to get going, some showboating and mocking from rob in particular meant that this took a while to get going but when it did i couldnt fault it,ric flair came out to aid one of the athletes and from then on a great relationship was formed,i was happy to see it here in its beginning hey and so will you, great match when it got going in a nutshell.
Womans title was up next in a poor enough encounter but had some decent moves thrown in,the champ molly went up against trish in a lively enough match but when you dissect these matches carefully they dont register on the radar on a consistent enough basis.
Chris benoit went up against kurt angle in a real crowd pleaser next and i expected plenty and got it and thats always a bonus. This was highly skilled, technical as sin and pretty aggressive, respect was shown then lost then shown some more from two men who are hard to seperate although i feel angle is the better of the two, great match.
The WWE title was up next as the young champion brock lesnar went up against the undertaker in a vicious match, very vicious and bad tempered indeed,a strong ref was needed for this,he wasnt here on this night though. Both men exchanged force and anger in equal measures so it wasnt that skilled but it wasnt a boring brawl by any means, brock raised his game and the taker knew he wasnt gonna have it his way,a great match that brought new meaning to their feud that the taker found hard to become a victor,i liked this and the event as a whole was very solid in fact, one of the better events of 2002 and there was some great ones in the mix that year.

WWE UNFORGIVEN 20025
Unfogiven has excellent story lines leading up to the main events and the action and drama is brilliant.

1st - Kane,Booker t,Goldust,Bubba ray Dudley vs The Un-Americans
This match was excellent for Kane's comeback after being out on injury, there is a lot of teamwork from Booker t,Goldust and Bubba. The American team had one goal to end the Un-Americans.
4/5 Stars

2nd - Chris Jericho vs RicFlair (Intercontinental Title)
They call the nature boy Ric Flair the dirtiest player in the game for which then he was beaten by his own game by chris jericho seeing he pretened to hurt his leg. 3/5 Stars

3rd - Edge vs Eddie Guerrero
This match started off really slowly which bored me but it got good towards the end. 3/5 Stars

4th - Billy & Chuck vs Rosey and Jamal (Interpromotional)
This match is very good short but good. 4/5 Stars

5th - Triple H vs Rob van Dam (World Title)
This match is excellent, Rvd makes fun of HHH and HHH makes fun of Rvd but in this match we see a new side to Ric Flair. 5/5 Stars

6th - Trish startus vs Molly Holly (Women's Title)
This match is very quick as all the other womens matches so its boring if you ask me i'd say dont watch it. 0/5

7th - Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit
This match is full of rage and anger for which it made this match Brilliant. 5/5

8th - Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker (WWE Title)
This this is not the best Lesnar v Taker match well it wasn't Because it was stopped seeing it got out of hand. 4/5

I hoped this wwe unforgiven review helped you on your choice of WWE DVDS for the future.

Unforgivenable boring!!!2
This show was such a dissapointment to me. Here are my opinions on the matches:

Kane, Booker T, Goldust and Bubba Ray vs. Un-Americans
Probably the best match. Great effort by all men, quick and breathtaking.
8/10.

Chris Jericho vs. Ric Flair (Intercontinental Title)
Screwed up match! Jericho acts like he has hurted his knee and cheats his way to win.
2/10.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Edge
Eddie wins. The match is too long, but contains some great spots.
7/10.

Billy and Chuck vs. 3 Minute Warning
3 Minute Warning won the match with a great looking move by Jamal. The match was boring.
2/10

Triple H vs. Rob Van Dam (World Heavyweight Title)
Long, boring and too much Triple H. We don't see very much of Rob Van Dam's great abilities. It is in this match that Triple H joins forces with Ric Flair, even that he taunted Ric Flair before the match.
5/10.

Molly Holly vs. Trish Stratus (Womens Title)
Pretty good match. Molly does some cool maneuvers. Trish wins.
6/10.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit
Great match, but too long. Benoit picks the win.
8.5/10

Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar (WWE Title)
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooring!!! The highlight is when Taker throws Lesnar through a wall in the end.
2/10.

The Lesbians segments with Bischoff getting a stinkface, was though pretty funny.

Overall:
4/10

EXTRAS:
There's a lot of extras on the dvd.

Un-Americans interview:
The Un-Americans provoces their opponents before their match.

Ric Flair interview:
Ric Flair says he still has it when he is in the ring.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero
Great cruiserweight match. Rey puts on several great moves.
8/10.

Undertaker "Desire" video
Pretty cool montage which shows clips from Taker's career, and with the great Triple X theme by Gavin Rossdale running in the background, it's even better.

Rob Van Dam vignette
Cool promo showing RVD's training and such things.

Chris Benoit vignette
Benoit sounds sick and dangerous in this one as he says "You Will Feel My Pain!"

Post match interview: Chris Jericho
Jericho says that he's the dirtiest player in the game. Best Post match interview on the dvd.

Post match interview: Kurt Angle
Angle accuses Benoit for cheating.

Post match interview: Booker T and Goldust
Nothing special.
