The Moodies at Their Best5
I have followed the Moodies since the sixties, but lost interest after Seventh Sojourn as my tastes changed. I came back to the Moodies after on a whim buying Red Rocks and I was blown away by it. Recorded in 1992 their performance was fantastic, having a full symphony orchestra behind them was the icing on the cake. Being an open air concert at Red Rocks gave a tremendous atmosphere to the whole concert. They played tracks from nearly every album throughout their entire career. Obviously Justin Hayward was the king pin, but the others played their part as well, John Lodge seemed to be enjoying the whole event, a true aging rocker, I loved his 'Lean on Me Tonight'. The concert had some really good rock'n roll as only the Moodies can play, I'm Just A Singer in a Rock and Roll Band was a real head banger. This concert inspired me to see them in Bournemouth last year and it was great to see them again after so many years, their music has a lasting quality. If you want the definitive Moodies in concert buy Red Rocks you will not be disappointed.

Brilliant!!5
Excellent concert, great sound and visuals. They did so many of their classic tracks and made them sound, in many cases, even better than the original. The blend of orchestra and rock group really worked here. This is a must for anyone who has ever enjoyed the old Moodies albums from Days of Future Passed to Seventh Sojourn.

Excellant live concert5
The Atmosphere was truly phenomenal when The Moody Blues performed at this live concert, the stage was set within the beautiful Red Rocks in the USA, the Orchestra and the deep bass together with Ray's flute and Justin Hayward's voice within the natural surroundings was a perfection in acoustics..all their hits to date at the time where performed there including Nights In White Satin...the sounds from that song alone that night still ring in my ears after listening to this DVD it was truly a wonderful journey of musicality.Days Of Future Passed (SACD/Deluxe Edition)
