Stunning!
Simply put, this is the golden era of the Rollins Band. These performances have the classic line-up of Andrew Weiss, Sim Cain and Chris Haskett. The 2 disc set comprises the original Hard Volume set with additional demo tracks. Despite the thin production, this album showcases Rollins' lyrical expression at it's fullest potential. Insert Band Here is a disc of a live radio show recorded in Australia. This without any doubt proves how incredible this band were; tight, precise, disciplined; truly exceptional. The Blues influence is evident on the track Out There; a song which in my opinion is one of the strongest songs this era of the Rollins Band ever produced. An absolutely essential purchase.
