Customer Reviews

Bought it for one song4
I bought this as it's the only cd I could find that had Tommy Youngblood's Tobacco Road on it. This was after a lot of digging trying to find the song that had been sampled by Ghostface Killah on the intro to the Pretty Tony album. This song alone is well worth the purchase price. Of course there's other great songs as well on this and the sub-title doesn't reflect the true story, as it's not all soulful ballads. It starts with 6 nice funky tracks, the next 7 tracks then being ballads, then back to 5 more funky songs. the next 2 being a little more mellow, then the last 5 winding down as ballads. All in all a very good purchase.
