Customer Reviews

Great headphones5
These are the best sounding in-ear earphones that I have had. I use the smallest ear bud and they sit perfectly in my ear. They haven't fallen out yet and don't feel like they are going to. I use them on the tube mainly and brisk walking in the morning.. Not really an expert on sound frequencies.. but they sound fantastically clear to me (I play heavy metal mostly and some rock) and in my opinion are far better than the in-ear Sony earphones (cable is much stronger than the Sony earphones which fell apart after a couple of months). I guess they are expensive (but Bose are an expensive brand we all know that), but worth it I won't buy another cheap pair of headphones (including Sony) after listening to these. Don't really have a problem with the little cube thing that other reviewers have had a problem with, my mp3 sits in my pocket so doesn't really make any difference to me. Decided to splash out and buy my other half the over-ear Bose headphones for Christmas after buying these for myself.

Stunning. But ....5
Let's be blunt - I have no reservations about buying these headphones at all. Any comments about them revealing instrumentation you never knew existed in a piece of music are fully justified. But with an MP3 player, even an Ipod, the deficiencies of music compression become apparent and the hiss comes through, particularly on quieter pieces. Maybe their strongest selling point is their downfall. But if the crucial question is :- would you replace them if they broke ? Then the crucial answer is :- yes, oh yes. And then some.

Exceptional sound reproduction5
I am a professional sound engineer and have reviewed many competitive products at similar prices. The sound quality of these headphones surpass that of Sennheiser and Sony. I would strongly recommend these headphones to anyone aspiring to get the most out of their music.

Perhaps the body could use some work for more professional applications, but since these are consumer headphones I can't really fault them at all.

I might suggest you try them out for yourself - Many Currys (formerly Dixons) stores, Apple stores, Empire Direct (Leeds), and Bose stores have them on display for you to try. I can guarentee you will become addicted (remember to take them off before you leave the store!).

At under £100, these are a bargain! Grab some before you forget.
