When it comes time for combat, Bond can engage in hand-to-hand fighting, using objects from game environments as weapons, as well as accessing a guns and gadgets. The discerning player, however, may find a multitude of different options ranging from disguise to distracting guards to using cover--and using these Bond-style tactics to outsmart the bad guys will reward the player with special enhancements including Q-Lab gadgetry. Amazon.co.uk Review
Billed as the first James Bond film in video-game form, Everything or Nothing certainly doesn't lack in cinematic presentation. For starters it's got a cast of A-list Hollywood stars that most real movies would be jealous of, including Dame Judi Dench, John Cleese, Willem Dafoe, Shannon Elizabeth, Heidi Klum and, of course, Pierce Brosnan. There's even a title song from Mya and fully licensed Q-enhanced vehicles such as the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish and the Triumph Daytona 600 motorcycle.
In terms of gameplay though Everything or Nothing is far less extravagant. In contrast to previous Bond games it's viewed from a third-person perspective and looks and plays not unlike a more action-packed version of Splinter Cell. There are problems with the entirely manual camera system though--particularly the lock-on for the aiming system, which is frustratingly random in choosing which bad guy you target.
The vehicle sections, which use the same graphics engine as Need for Speed Underground, are less obstreperous and offer some of the most genuinely enjoyable moments as you hurtle in pursuit of bad guys riding heavily armed cars, motorbikes and helicopters. Additionally, both on foot and when driving, the game gives you the chance to trigger "Bond moments" when you find shortcuts or dispatch bad guys in particularly imaginative ways.
Everything or Nothing is perhaps the ultimate example of style over substance in video games, but there's just enough of the latter to ensure that everyone but the most pernickety of gamers will find something to enjoy. --David Jenkins

Shaken, and a little stirred....
James Bond returns to next-gen consoles in style in the new '3rd person' action adventure, "Everything or Nothing". His last outing, "Nightfire" was an enormously enjoyable first-person shooter. It had a movie like feel and lots of detail, but... something was lacking. It all felt a little shallow somehow.
Well EA Games have ditched the now familiar FPS style of previous Bond games and opted for a "Splinter Cell" look. It works brilliantly. All the characters have been digitally mapped into the game so you actually play Pierce Brosnan, fight Willem Dafoe and get flirty with Shannon Elizabeth. It all helps to add to the atmosphere which to be honest is excellent. The game was supposedly held back because it needed 'tweeking'. Glad to see some games companies care about the detail.
The plot (written by Bond movie scriptwriter Bruce Fierstien) invloves the theft of high tech weaponary and a plot to flood the United States. As Bond you must race across the world, from Peru to Russia in attempt to put madman Nikolai Diavalo out of business.
You have all sorts of weaponary at your disposal including obligatory pistols, rifles, dart guns and grenades, but you also have some neat liitle gadgets which include heat vision and a rappel which allows you to climb walls.
All the major players from the movie have lent their vocals to this game which is a brilliant touch and really helps to feel as if you are Bond. The graphics are stunning, sound effects well thought out and some great music really gives this game something above and beyond your usual action adventure. It even has a brand new song recorded by Mya to accompany the movie style opening credits. All in all this is one of the best Bond games ever. It may not eclipse the classic N64 "Goldeneye" but it'll give it a damn good run for it's money.
Not half bad
Great graphics, feeling of complete immersion into the Bond universe, great gameplay, but a little short. First off, the graphics are fantastic. The character models are very lifelike, and the explosions look scarily real. The scenery is detailed and the weapons have a realistic impact upon the environment. The different vehicles and gadgets really add to the gameplay rather than just being an add-on to the on-foot action. The game does not take too long to complete, but the replay value is very high, and the difficulty is both challenging and changeable. Well worth your money if you want a game that's purely about fun in an extravagant Bond kind of way.
One Of The Best Games!!
This is the latest James Bond game and it has to be the best. The 3rd person view works excelentley, and the mission types are very varied and take place all around the world. You can do everything from fly a helicopter, drive an Aston Martin or a Motorbike. Top Game!!
