Manufacturer's Description
Following hot on the heels of the mighty Formula One 2002, Formula One 2003 continues to refine the experience, and makes for the finest Grand Prix simulation yet seen on PlayStation 2. Now totally exclusive to PS2, the latest instalment features all the 2003 season liveries on the cars, correct driver rosters and even the track alterations that have been made to the Hungaroring and Suzuka circuits. You'll also find that all the new rules and regulations that have been introduced to the sport--and made this season arguably the most thrilling for both spectators and drivers for many years--have been implemented, such as the one-shot Friday and Saturday qualifying laps. With an extremely strong engine already in place, developer Studio Liverpool has been able to turbo charge everything from the visuals to the AI of your rival drivers. Whether you're after pure white-knuckle arcade excitement or something a little more in-depth and realistic, Formula One 2003 has everything you could possibly wish for.

No Better F1 Game EVER!!!!!!!!!
OK, Gran Turismo is a good driving game and so is Need For Speed. But hardly any other driving game gets better than this. What makes it so good is that not only can you race for yourself, you can make up your own F1 race and even better chose where the cars go. I have not yet won the World Championship yet but I have won the Arcade Championship. You can also win Time Attacks and (probably the most boring) single races. All of it is the greatest ever Grand Prix and racing game.
Much better than last year's version (2002)
The 2003 game is better than last year's 2002 version. It has the line up for the brand new season 2003. Hopefully will Coulthard or Montoya beat world champion Michael Schumacher!!
In this game you can test out all of the cars of the new season!!! Or take time out to watch your own race! It has the new modifications for France and Hungary and thank goodness the old overrated fellows (Massa and the Japanese guy Sato) are out. This year sees Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello stay at Ferrari. Williams retain the services of Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher. David Coulthard and Kimi Raikkonen stay at McLaren and how about more. Renault retain the services of ex Jordan and Prost driver Jarno Trulli. Test driver Fernando Alonso partners him in the British-based French team.
Better than Formula One 2002
I like Formula One 2002 but Formula One 2003 is much better despite the facts that like 2002 there's no cigarette sponsors when there's supposed to be and the cars look a bit different from what they really look like! The Sauber car is supposed to have it's numbers 9 and 10 on the nose of it but it's a good game. The 2002 game had a mix-up with Sauber with the lead driver having the car with the number '8' and the second driver having the number '7' but in this game the 9 and 10 are missed out! But I'm glad that it has start of season line up and I'm glad that in the 2002 game the Arrows team are there.
