In a nutshell:
Her name’s Dark, Jo Dark. And this is the story of how England’s female super agent became who she is, from humble beginnings as gun-for-hire to premier league spy. When a straightforward corporate snatch mission leads to a global conspiracy, Joanna Dark and her father get sucked into a world conflict invisible to the public setting Jo on her path to becoming a Perfect Agent.

The lowdown:
Yes, you’ll get to shoot a lot of bad guys with weapons ranging from good old sniper rifles to silenced weapons to the RCP-90, nostalgic automatic weapon of choice for fans of Nintendo 64 classic Goldeneye, also from British developer Rare. Although the graphics aren’t looking as impressive as some other Xbox 360 launch titles, you have to try it to appreciate its subtlety – Perfect Dark feels great to play.

Most exciting moment:
Co-operative modes are becoming increasingly commonplace, but Perfect Dark takes things to the next level by introducing a new character and often wholly separate paths through the game’s intricately constructed maps.

Since you ask:
After creating masterpieces from Goldeneye to platform game legend Banjo Kazooie in partnership with Nintendo, developer Rare was snapped up by Microsoft to work exclusively on Xbox.

The bottom line:
Shaping up to be the shining star of Xbox 360’s launch line-up.
Nick Gillett

Not impressed with the line: "Excuse me, I think I dropped something! My jaw!! (She was a computer character and couldn't understand) The aliens abandoned genocide. They were terrified of Joanna's magic torch
X-ray vision failed to live up to adolescent fantasies The infinitely more saucy "Ready Brek" vision

    Zero is the new Five!5
    In a nutshell: amazing!

Flawless graphics, superb sound, smooth gameplay with a learning curve judged so perfectly it seems scary.

This is pretty much my first step away from the thing since I picked it up yesterday with my shiny new 360, and I will shortly be returning to it since I am feeling withdrawal symptoms setting in.

Had my first try on xbox live today, and as long as you ignore the constant barrage of American teen angsty shouting and general abuse, you can stare wide eyed at the incredible smoothness of play and the perfectly sized arenas.

Seriously, unless you are a die-hard racing fan, this is THE game to have with your new toy.

    Halo and counterstrike......4
This game has all is needed for the average gamer, great graphics, a half decent story mode and a co-op mode that is pretty impressive to. Xbox Live certainly takes it to a new level though, with dark ops mode there are game types similar to counterstrike, you can decide what weopons you want and buy them, earning credits for this by making kills etc. However, don't expect too much realism in multiplayer as enemies do take a lot of bullets to kill, unless you get that elusive head shot. Online is fantastic and the game is worth it just for that, loads of game modes and players that actually match your level of playing! Multiplayer without live is good too though, sa you can battle aginst bots in various game modes. A verdict of about 90% is fair, as ther could be as for gamers looking for realistic amounts of bullets to kill people will perhaps find PSZ a bit frustrating, although on single player it is a lot easier to rack up kills. A tactical Halo, this game certainly rocks my world. If you have xbox live, buy it!!

    It quite simple...5
....if you want an immersive fps for the 360 to play OFFLINE then get call of duty 2. If you want a great multiplyer game to play ONLINE (or offline with bots) get perfect dark zero.

The single player of pdz isn't great, but online it ROCKS!!! Whereas with call of duty 2 the online it terrible but the single player is amazing.

    Simple!!

    The great things about PDZ...

I've had upto 16 players on a lag free game (unlike my experiences with halo 2)
The guns and gadgets are excellent
    The visuals are very impressive.
    The multiplayer arenas are great.
There is lots of variety in the games which should keep them interesting for a long while.

    See you online...?
