A Supreme Machine for the Perfect Coffee
I originaly bought the Gaggia Evolution machine for £129.99. What a total waste of time this machine is. I took it back after 2 days of attempting to use it. BEWARE from this product that Gaggia don't always get it right. After a lot of humming and arrrrring we came to the conclusion that we would buy the LOGIC over the Compact, as it is easier to use. What a difference. OK the price is more but the coffee is better, and with no messy waste it is simply the better machine. It allows any cup size, which the cheaper models won't allow. The steam valve is adjustable so that you can easily get a cup of milk under it. The Evolution valve was so low you had to tilt the machine to get a cup under it. The water tray is easy to fill unlike the Evolution. Simply put this machine is well thought out, simple to use and produces cafe style coffee. Reccomended without hesitation.

Easy to Make and clean
I bought one for my work as I was fed-up of cardboard carton coffee. It is supremely easy to make a cup of espresso and cappuccino; it is also surprisingly easy to live with beacuse it is so easy to clean. This machine makes superb coffee with the minimum of fuss, but it is a large machine that would cramp most kitchens. I am looking for a smaller model to use at home but can otherwise recommend this machine.

Great convenient machine
I was devistated when my Krupps machine of 7 years died on me. After much research I discovered that the "engine" of many automatic coffee makers was found in this entry level Gaggia. The only difference is the lack of a display and fewer buttons - oh and yes it takes up more room.

The machine is simplicity itself both to install and use. The quality is terrific and requires little compromise for the considerable convenience it offers.

My only doubt is the longevity of a product with such flimsy plastic parts. But Gaggia offer an exceptional 2 year guarantee that mat be extended to 5 years at minimal cost. So if I can have 700 days of great espressos with a machine at this cost I won't complain.

It also looks the part and is sure to impressive your guests.
