Manufacturer's Description
Dancing Stage Unleashed is the first chance for Xbox users to strut their stuff on a compatible dance mat plus a number of PAL exclusive tracks can be downloaded from Xbox Live. In a very simple yet always entertaining concept, the player uses either a dance mat controller or a joypad to match a series of arrowed icons as they float up screen to a backbeat of well-known pop classics. The more accurately the arrows are matched, the more the player is rewarded.

Brilliant dancing debut on the Xbox
XLNT game. Got it as soon as it was released because we peordered it... so unlike the previous review I have actually tried the game!!!
I can't get enough of this game. We have 3 other dancing stage titles on the PS2/one so I was really looking forward to this one and I've not been disappointed.
The steps seem to flow better so I find it easier than the dancing stage games on ps2 & one, however, looking at the game, the beginner mode appears much harder than the beginner modes on the other games.
I really like the selection of songs but obviously this is a personal preference. There are 2 Blondie songs: Heart of Glass & Call Me, Big Brovaz (Nu Flow), Ebeneezer Goode (Shamen), and loads more. There is a selection of songs from their PS2/1 games like TSUGARU, .59, Kind Lady, Sweet Sweet Magic, Keep on Movin' (some are different mixes) etc but also a number of new & different titles.
I would highly recommend this game to both serious and fun seeking dance gamers!
Dance till ya drop!
5 6 7 8!! So, they've finally releashed a dance game for xbox! Woohoo!! Whoever thought it possible...learn to dance and get the right moves in the comfort of your own home! I don't think many mums and dads will be pleased with all the stomping coming from upstairs though..but hey! These are great fun, and can keep kids and teens occupied for hours...plus...exercise!! So, get one of these! Not only are they fun, but they can aid in the physical side of things (yawn) Not very educational though....unless you count being as good a dancer as Justin Timberlake?!
