Product Description

'Grand Champ' is the fifth album from Ruff Ryders co-founder and rapper DMX. Produced by various artists including Rockwilder and Swizz Beatz and featuring guest vocals from 50 Cent, Cam'ron, and soul diva Patti LaBelle to name but a few, the album is a mix of tough hip hop beats and DMX's hardcoregangsta rap vocals. The single 'Where The Hood At' is also included.

Customer Reviews

Worst DMX album2
This album is pretty bad. Most of the songs are generic and the lyrics are the worst DMX has written. A couple of the songs, Rain, Don't gotta go home, A'Yo Kato, Untouchable and Thank you, are good. Very disappointing.

X has skills, you can't deny that. Although he went against his promise to fans not to use megastar artists, surely, if they like rap or good music, they will admit it works.

the dog lost his bite!1
this album is X's worst by a longggg way! if you want to listen to X spittin in all his glory check out 'flesh of my flesh blood of my blood' - AWESOME ALBUM! his best without doubt! his other best albums are 'the great depression' and 'its dark and hell is hot'

on this CD he totally sells out, puts a load of names on his tracks to try and cash in on other artists fame which is very cheap... something he said he would never do when he was younger, but he lied!

DMX is gangsta! hes real, hes street, hes gutter! and that is how we like him, grimey style, raw beats, ill flow and tearing up the mic like no other n*66a in this rap game!.... but this goes totally against the grain, none of that is present on this album, he sounds old, weak, like a dog on his last set of legs, his lyrics are poor and his flow is totally off!

its sad that hip hop has gone in this direction, i think nas is the only major artist still keeping it real, the rest of the rap game have all gone phoney now, but its all about selling records now, love for the game seems to be out the window, kinda sad really but thats just how it is
