This should shut up all the haters!
God its been a while! Almost 3 full years since choco starfish and almost 2 full years since their last single 'Boiler' I am a huge bizkit fan but i myself was doubting the significance of their comeback...until i heared 'eat you alive' that is! I dont think anyone who's into nu-metal or limpbizkit can honestly say that this new single is anything short of amazing. It's definitely one of the most well-rounded and finest songs limp have yet produced. Fred is in fine form and the new guitarist Mike Smith shows he's more than capable of taking over from Wes Borland. Bring on 22nd September i say, and limps new album 'Results May Vary'

3 years we've waited, we've had controversy (guitarist Wes leaving) we've had fake singles (Crack Addict) we've even had huge fallouts (Eminem and Fred) but finally theyre new single was released, and from the first time of hearing the huge riff i was hooked to this song, from the screaming nu-metal chorus, to the story like verses to the beautiful final verse, the whole song was like a rollercoaster ride, the other songs 'Shot' and 'Just Drop Dead' are also great with the latter being (allegedly) about Freds failed relationship with Britney Spears yet the song is slightly hollow and doesnt quite pack the punch that the other two do. 'Eat You Alive' 5/5 - 'Shot' 5/5 - 'Just Drop Dead' 4/5

Ok...i'll be honest I wasn't a HUGE Limp Bizkit fan, back in the day, I thought the previous three albums really lacked that cutting edge which would keep me comming back for more, further more the MASSIVE over-exposure of singles such as 'Rollin' really put me off listening to a band in the mainstream with little kids singin' 'keep rollin rollin rollin' everywhere you went, but this single alone has converted me! I went to the recent free concert in London because afterall who turns down a FREE concert? and heard this single as the opener, in the flesh, at its most ferocious! I was literally STUNNED! The loud biting chorus cuts into you like a chainsaw and the soft melodies of the verses really give this hip hop/rock band the cutting and finished edge you really desire. 'Eat you alive' is one of those great songs you'll put on if your happy, sad, split up with your girlfriend or if you just want to have a huge dig at someone. I highly recommend this single with its tremendous drum and bass lines, guitar riffs that just have you nodding your head along to and of course Mr. Durst's vocals just make you want to scream out the animal inside you! Buy this if your a true rocker, if your into poppy cheeky girls stuff...stay the hell away or it'll eat your soul alive!
