Amazon.co.uk Review
Pink couldn't have picked a more appropriate title for her third album than Try This. Her debut, 2000's Can't Take Me Home, was slick and trendy R&B; follow-up M!ssundaztood--co-written by former 4 Non Blondes singer Linda Perry--was overblown, angst-ridden rock; now she's trying her hand at being an all-round superstar. With Tim Armstrong from US punks Rancid sharing the cowriting duties with Perry, and guitars and crashing beats still outnumbering everything else, Try This is technically still a rock album. In spirit though, it's spiky pop with singalong attitude. The triumphant dance-floor pogo of "God Is a DJ", the street party vibe of "Tonight's the Night" and the surf-punk twist of "Trouble" all provide a generous helping of chart-ready feelgood factor. Meanwhile "Catch Me While I'm Sleeping", "Oh My God" (featuring Peaches) and "Feel Good Time" respectively throw dreamy French romance, writhing lesbian lust and William Orbit-produced/Beck-written sci-fi squelching into the mix without feeling out of place. Having done pretty much everything else, Pink now just wants to be a hell-raising pop star. Try This is a cracking way to do it. --Mark Daniels

Another great album
If you liked Missundaztood, then you will definatly like this new CD. All the songs on here are great! I personally liked Missundaztood slightly better, but this album IS really good.
My favourite track on here is 'catch me while I'm sleeping', it's got a real feel-good thing about it, but 'feel good time' may start to get on your nerves after a while.
It has a nice mix of poppy and rock tunes. Pink is definatly the best female solo artist in the chart at the moment, so if your sick of Dido and whats-her-name..pop idol, I highly recomend this one.
u have to try this album
This album is the best of Pink's so far. The songs are fantastic and the lyrics are as mind blowing as ever. Easily one of the best writers of our generation. If you are in two minds wheather to buy this album just buy it you won't regret it. It has a mixture of tracks on as did misunderstood. Oh My God, God Is a GJ, Catch me while I'm sleeping, love song, walk away, unwind and try too hard are the best of the tracks but all are brilliant no other artists has an album full of great songs u'll never skip a song.
