INCREDIBLE!!
Xbox Live what an incredible idea Microsoft I personally love Xbox Live it makes games that bit better this Starter Kit is great apart from when I tried playing MechAssualt no one is ever online so to be honest you only get 1 Xbox Live game and MotoGP is incredible race against other players the Kit comes with a Headset so you can taunt your opponents to death also it comes with a 12 month Subscription Card so if you dislike Xbox Live then you dont have to pay the annual fees just cancel or delete your Gamertag man I'm totaly lost without Xbox Live I strongly suggest that you get a Starter Kit and get your asses on Xbox live you have a Friends List where you can stick all your friends see who's online and what they are currently playing and if you want send them an Invitation to come play a game you want to play man Xbox Live is really cool okay it has it's bad points and that is that it laggs and crashes but other than that it is well cool I used to dislike Xbox it just lacked awesome games it has no Final Fantasy games and I love the Final Fantasy series it only has 1 good offline game and that Shenmue 2 but now with Xbox Live the console has proven to be my favourite console I LOVE XBOX and I would like to thank Microsoft for creating Xbox Live and please if you can improve it so it rarely laggs and crashes that'd help greatly thanks anyway overall dont get Xbox Live and your a total dumbass dont miss Xbox Live
A BUY!!!!!!!!
Live
Firstly, the xbox is great on its own, without live. great games, lots of them, awesome. Then live. This is the best gaming experience I have ever played. I have all computers and xbox rises above the rest. If you hate playing a computer all the time and dying then starting again, then get live.
the ps2 netplay or what ever is crap. really. I have a very fast broadband and it was still slow, I can get on xbox live in 30 seconds. Ps2 netplay is boring, crashes all the time. The starter kit is great also, although the headset could be made alot stronger because all the jumping we do with it and shouting down the mic. All in all get live. it is great. I know
Great idea, and worth the money
I've had xbox live for over a year, and on the whole it has been worth the money I paid for the starter kit. I've managed not to break the headset, which has been a problem for many, and I agree it is very flimsily constructed. For the money though, you can't expect more -- the ability to network with other gamers around the world, and download new content for your games is worth the money without the headset, so you can't really complain about a free unit, can you?
One thing that did happen to me I would like to share: I was laid up a very ill for a while, and consequently I didn't keep my xbox live details up to date when they change. It completely slipped my mind to update them with my new credit card number, and because my ISP changed around then, they couldn't tell me when the subscription ran out. In short, my account was cancelled and locked, so I lost my gamer tag and the stats I built up.
You can't reuse the subscription number you get with this kit. Once it's been used, you have to get a new kit like me to start again. So please, remember to keep your details up to date.
