Blue are still trying to emulate their US counterparts, and their third album Guilty includes a host of set pieces including shouty bits, Timbaland-esque production and even some falsetto singing. Songs such as "Stand Up" and "Bubblin'" are classic Blue in the spirit of "All Rise" and "Drive By"--funky backing with catchy half-sung, half-spoken lyrics that make for a pretty good start to the album.

The standout soul ballad is "How a Man's Supposed to Change"--catchy and light with a rousing chorus that unlike most other ballads on the album actually sounds like Blue as opposed to any generic boyband. Three albums down the line Blue are still delivering the goods, although a number of the songs sound remarkably like Westlife--not necessarily a bad thing but Blue have their own style and should most definitely stick to it. --Georgina Collins

absolutly amazing
I am a massive fan of blue, i listen to their music everyday and absolutly adore them. therefore i was extremly nervus when i bought guilty as soon as the shops opened yesterday. not because i do not have faith in the boys talent but becausei knew it would be different. I had no reason to b nevous. Guilty is an amazing mixture of comtemporary pop songs with an ultimatlely blue feel, which they have strived so hard to achieve in the past few years.

The album starts with the anthemic 'Stand Up' this is an incredible opener to an incredible album with a very uptempo rnb flava. Signed Sealed DelivRred is sure to b another hit single and dare i say it, Lee Ryans vocals do rival stevie wonders hre is definately a legend in the making. they r both amazing singers and i feel that blue really vibe off working with such legends as Angie Stone and Stevie Wonder. 'Taste It' is incredible and definately a more mature sounding song.

One of the stand out tracks for me has to be Breathe easy. this is very different to anything previously sung by blue, but it really reflects the strength of the boys voices. written by lee, this has a very emotional lyric and definately shows what he is capable of. it is a joy to listen to him as he effortlessly reaches the high notes, seemingly with ease. the boys voices have also shown increased range and strength they reach notes on this album i thought only lee could.

The final song is called no goodbyes. It is a very emotional song that has me crying every time i hear it, but it is a beautiful end to what is a magical album. I am now looking forward to the upcoming tour with great anticipation if i wasnt already! this deseves more that 5 stars a truely magnificent album that i am very proud of Blue for producing. Its nice to see that they have co wrote 14 of the 15 songs, something not often seen by a pop group in todays charts

One Of The Best Albums Of This Year!
I'v just finished listening to Blue's new album and it is fantastic! I loved One Love but Guilty is just miles ahead. I love all of the songs on the album but right now my favourite is Alive. Rock The Night, Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours, When Summer's Gone and Bubblin' are also stand out tracks. A problem I had with One Love was that their was not enough ballads and the ones it did have didn't have the sparkle that the All Rise ones had. Blue have changed this and the ballads on this album are even better than All Rise. Breathe Easy is their first "proper" ballad and should be their next single after SSD. No Goodbyes is another epic ballad. Blue have found the right balance of ballads and up tempo songs on this album! This is another step in their music and has a lot more grown up sound then their last two albums. I recomend everyone try this (even if you haven't liked any of their previous stuff). 10/10!!!!

Blue Guilty Album Review
A third Blue Album, but is it worth it?
In my opinion, Blue have tread a different path with this new album. It's a lot more ballady, and far more easy listening than either of their previous 2 albums (All Rise, and One Love), which were both quite up-tempo albums.
But to be fair to the boys, they seem to have pulled off this new sound pretty convincingly. The songs all have a strong base-line, and after a couple of plays, several of them are extremely catchy.
If you are a Blue fan, then you'll obviously be buying this new album, but even if you're not, then I would actually recommend you give this album a listen, because it certainly is a change from the R&B, fast-beat Blue that we are used to, and is surprisingly enjoyable to listen to.
