RalliSport Challenge 2 features six game modes including Career, Single Race, Time Attack, Multi-player and Instant Action. This will test your driving skills over more than 90 tracks, from Sweden, Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Argentina, Monte Carlo, and really test their skills by racing up the sides of the Grand Canyon in the ultimate Hill Climb race.

Among the new cars featured in "RalliSport Challenge 2" are the Hyundai Accent WRC, Renault Megane Maxi, Volvo 440T, Lancia Stratos, Ford GT70 and the Suzuki Aerio P950 and gamers will be able to make minor modifications to each car to meet the challenge of each track. Players can modify their tires, dampers, break balance, steering and gear ratio to match the race conditions of the track.

Rallisport Challenge 2 picks up from where Microsoft's original rally driving sim left off: it's an improvement on its predecessor in every sense. The key to this game's success lies in its diversity. Few racing titles offer as broad a selection of gameplay styles, and even fewer carry them off with such aplomb. Here, straight rally driving lines up alongside rally cross, circuit racing, hill climbing, and even ice racing. Each discipline is unique in its style and feel. All of which serves to provide the player with a huge range of modes to play through--longevity is not an issue.

Rallisport Challenge 2 is one of the most comprehensive multi-player Xbox titles. Fact...
Rallisport 2 is brilliant. I consider myself quite experienced with the racing genre, having played them since lotus challenge on the amiga to the gran turismos and the toca race drivers of today. I don't normally comment on games I've bought however rallisport 2 deserves a mention.
FACT - the most important aspect I feel required in a racing game is the sense of speed you get when on the wheel. Rallisport 2 delivers this without a shadow of a doubt especially when you play in the no-car-model camera view.
The cars handle nicely with a good learning curve and there are tons of tracks to keep you busy for years on end.
This is a must purchase for driving fans.

The best rally on xbox
This game is way better than Colin McRae 2005 for one big reason - The thrill of driving at speed is HUGE!!

Because the graphics are superb. They roll without flicker and at such speed and detail that this is one of those rare games where you truly forget where you are - you are utterly immersed in a rally driving experience.

True the graphics in between stages aren't as flashy as Colin Mcrae, and there's no poncing around to be done repairing your car at service areas - but SO WHAT. Are you here for the racing or what?? And yes the replays are a waste of space too but SO WHAT, man. Get in the car and tear it up!

The light effects through trees and over brows and in dusk are incredibly realistic. When the surface changes (even leaves) you real do feel the car handling differently. It doesn't need a stupid rumble in the joypad to tell you this.

Add to this so much more variety than McR with rallycross stages where you race against other vehicles, time trials and hill climbs where you have to make do without the co-driver you've come to love, and so many different vehicles and unlocks for specific races, this one has comeback appeal too.

It's just class.

Very, Very Good
A really great game. Once upon a time i used to play 'world chamionship rally 2' on the ps2 and i loved it. It gave a real feeling of speed and danger and the graphics were brill for the PS2. Since then nothing as come close to being this good on the xbox (including the great PGR2 which didn't quite have the sense of speed). Now rallisport challenge 2 has bettered the ps2 game in nearly every respect. I love the courses, the cars, the variety, the graphics, the sound and THE HIGH SENSE OF SPEED. The only thing i don't like is the difficulty of the game as it starts at too low a level and everybody will storm through the initial amateur stage without dropping more than a few points.

Online the game is impressive with up to 4 cars with collisions turned on or up to 16 with other players appearing as ghosts. This is good but i consider it a bonus extra because the career is so good.

Final words: very strongly recommended
