Kim Burrell Try Me Again
Kim Burrell's velvety jazz melodic voice is at its rawest on this earlier album. Without polished production, Ms Burrell brings a raw, honest musical edge to her gospel message. Gorgeously constructed, complex harmonies and a couple of standout tracks make this a must-have for contemporary gospel fans who want to sample something a bit different. Burrell definitely has her own style which is not easily copied across the genre and this album exemplifies her distinctive vocal style and quality.
