Sigh......................
Whose idea was it to team these two guys up? Their voices are amazing on their own but ... as a duo - no! Their voices are too much alike and it is impossible to know who is singing a particular part of the song [which they ruined at the beginning by the way] no doubt everyone will malign me for stating my views but really, this is as bad as the winner's rushed out in time for the [whatever holiday season it is]. Message to promoters - if you're going to do anything like this, give them a song that distinguishes them from one another, don't just trot out more tripe. I hate to mention the names Robson and Jerome in the same breath - but their voices were distinctive, and harmonised, whereas Mark and Sam's are not. I'm afraid all you get here is two guys on a karaoke machine! Dreadful. The picture on the front cover is the only redeeming factor. All in all, I was hoping for better because they deserve better.
Pop Idol's True Winners!
I think that this single is superb! If on Pop Idol, you had always prefered Sam to Mark, don't let this put you off, though Sam was a better singer in the competition I must say that on the single, Mark's singing actually has the edge.
Both of the tracks are fantastic and though the first track is slightly 'cheesy' as some have put it, the second track is really impressive, it isn't anywhere near as upbeat as the first and is very enjoyable to listen to.
This is a brilliant single and definately worth buying!
Cheesy with a capital C
Both Sam and Mark are good singers in their own right, but what on earth are they doing recording this? The cheesy beat and uninspired vocals make for a poor show of this debut single.
Keep this cheesy CD next to your Agadoo single!
