Customer Reviews
Nice video, great extras
Not my favourite track from 'Absolution', but benefits from a very nice, spacey video. The 'making of' clip is very good, and makes you watch the video in a whole new light (and look for the MR2). The Big Day Off clip is worth it just for Dom Howard trying to play golf.
Breathtaking
As an album track, Sing for Absolution fitted perfectly, but it manages to stand alone as a truly fantastic piece of music. Muse have always shown great promise, but it seems as if Absolution is the first album on which they have even started to push their own -frankly insane- genius, and Sing for Absolution is a magnificent example of this. The video's an instant classic as well; beautifully made and emotive, I don't think they could have picked more fitting imagary to go with a song of this title.
Not the best from the best
Muse are of the best bands alive and still making music at the moment. However i think this single is very dissapointing, ive got the absolution album and i loved it but this was one of the worst songs on the album, they have way better songs on the album such as falling away from you (a good soft song) and hysteria ( a awesome heavy song) If i was you buy album instead, if youve got the album only get this if your an avid fan. But the video is pretty damm good and the B-sides are too.
