Once more into the breach....
How come this went so wrong, this version lacks the quality of previous versions and seems just plain annoying. The interface is well laid out and is a much quicker game than football manager 2005 but i find the game is just a mess. Ive only just got this game recently and its uninstalled already, such a shame but hey what did i expect for £4.

It can improve
I bought CM5 upon release, having played FM2005 i expected great things from CM5. I was sadly dissapointed, it was rubbish!! the gameplay was shocking and Man U couldn't beat Ipswich. However I have recently started playing again with an update pack (now the 5.02 version not 5.00) it is still not as good as FM2005 but it has improved drastically. The gameplay is still a bit shocking but the results become more realistic. I suggest you buy FM2006 not the new Champ Man but if you own CM5 update it.

The world has gone mad!!! Help
How has anyone ever given this more than 1 star? You guys should get yourselves checked out (or you are probably Eidos employees). In fact, even if you are Eidos employees, you should get yourselves checked out. This game is worse than mindsweeper. Football Manager however is brilliant, so brilliant that after not leaving the house for 4 days I threw the disc out the window and knocked over a passing motor-cyclist. In fact, use your disc of this game as a frisbee I recommend it. Great fun.
