A Bigger Disappointement than Bakayoko!1
This is quite honestly the worst Championship Manager game I have ever played. I am an avid Champ fan and have played every version since Champ 2, where Ibrahima Bakayoko was possibly the best player in the game (Unfortunately when he joined Everton in real life he was about as good as this game!).

The game feels comic like and is very unrealistic. I have lost many hours of my life playing Champ :( But I'm not going to waste a moment more playing this version. There is a demo of it, if you're a glutton for punishment at: www.cm5demo.com

Don't buy this game, buy Football Manager 2005, a game created by SI Games, who also created CM1, CM2, CM3 and CM4. Football Manager 2005 is more like CM4, and far more realistic than this awful offerring from Eidos.

Championship Manager 5 (PC).1
So bad i've uninstalled it!!! This game is full of errors and the patch available online does nothing to rectify them.CM5 in my opinion has taken a great leap backwards and the good name of CM has been tarnished. Errors include:-
Defenders scoring own goals consistantly when under no pressure.
Winning games by huge margins....just doesn't happen!!
Teams bid for players and there's no way to accept the offer!!
Numerous other errors with this game also.
*******my advice is to buy Football Manager 2005********

Masive dissapointment2
I've always been a big fan of Championship manager and was eagerly awaiting CM5. Surely another great football management game.

However after a couple of hours I realised that it wasn't great, in fact it was pretty dire.

The game is riddled with little annoyances and lacks any sense of realism. Players never get injured during games, but you can expect at least two a week during training. Players also get unhappy for no reason and you can do nothing to rectify the situation. I was sixth in the league with Birmingham City and three quaters of my players were unhappy, the fans were calling for my head and the board was unhappy about our recent run of defeats?! Also, despite having a bank balance of 20 million plus, the board said our finances were cause for great concern?!?! These annoyances might be small, but they add up to become hugely frustrating.

On a closing note, I once, purely by accident, played David Dunn in goal and still beat Arsenal 3-2! Nuff said!
