Amazon.co.uk Review
'N Sync's younger fans are going to get a shock when they pick up JC Chasez's first solo album. With the release of Schizophrenic, this erstwhile boy-band member shows that he had a few impure thoughts during his band's squeaky-clean five-year run. If Justin Timberlake was the cute member of the outfit, Chasez was the hot-blooded one, and he's not afraid to show just how steamy by extolling his prowess, his proclivities and even the locations in his home where he has made love. From the athletic "All Day Long I Dream About Sex" to the feverish homo-erotic "Some Girls (Dance with Women)" he whips himself into a entertaining froth, but he doesn't really cross the lines of good taste until "Come to Me".

Despite his dirty mind, Chasez has proved to be an adventurous auteur, taking his music to places where 'N Sync would never venture, serving up the dangerous swampy gumbo ya ya of "Shake It", dance-hall reggae in "Mercy" and a more sanitised version with "Everything You Want". But he's at his absolute best when he evokes the sweaty spectre of 80s dance pop on "100 Ways", treading in the same stiletto boots that Prince did two decades earlier. --Jaan Uhelszki

Had to replace my worn out copy...it's that good :)5
As far as I'm concerned JC was the true talent behind N*SYNC. Having been a massive fan since "tearing up my heart" I've purchased every single one of their albums. JCs vocals stood out far beyond the rest, as did his skills as a writer. It's a shame his solo efforts have been looked over because I think a lot of people are missing out on a unique piece of work they'd enjoy.

best album5
i have had this album since 05 and i still listin to it. as others have said it should have done well considering how good it is.

BUY IT

This should have been no.1 in the UK5
This album seriously rocks, every single song is fantastic. I can play it all the way through and I never have gotten sick of it. There are beautiful ballads and the standout dance tracks as well as just feel good songs. Its a sexy album from a sexy artist who deserves a heck of alot more credit then he currently receives. JC Chasez can sing and write and though I love Justin Timberlakes music, JC wins on the vocal side, he is a fantastic singer and even from the Nsync days he stood out as the best.
