Less boring
After seeing the release of the Urbz i had to get it, i am a fan of the Sims but find after a while the constant cleaning gets on my nerves! i am pleased to say that this game is far better than the original. You get to upgrade unusual jobs, own pets and get tattoos. you also get to travel to different parts of the city but to do this you have to socialise (the most important thing in the game) and get an invite after which that part is open to visit whenever you like. you also have to "dress to impress" to fit in otherwise the other Urbz wont go near you! a simple yet addictive game with some comical bits (such a belching, headbutting and even a very short bike race!)

Good fun if you prefer being popular etc.. rather than having a house, kids, boring job etc etc..
Personally I love this game. Reasons for it being really good fun are:

It's so addictive (for good reasons!)

The Urbz people look WAY cooler than the normal Sims.

It's not just a game about a humdrum life of your everyday Joe Bloggs like other Sims.

It's so quirky eg. you can be a body piercer, firework maker, a model and more!

The Urbz people have such unique and brilliant clothes.

Oh yeah and you can have tattoos, green moheecans and a thong up to your waist above baggy trackies (wicked!).

When getting to know other Urbz they sometimes ask you to go on errands for them eg. I was asked to go beat up this one guy and another time I was asked to go flirt with a girl (please note: I myself was also a girl!) Basically it's really unpredictable!

The soundtrack's good : better than the annoying lift/elevator music in the other Sims!

You can go clubbing (when you get cool enough!)

The social moves are really different eg. doing a riff on an electric guitar or break dancing!

There are lots of empty rooms in all the 'districts' where you can place a shower, loo, vending machine etc. so that when you need to relieve yourself, wash etc.

As you achieve things eg. a promotion in a job, you get more and more social moves to try out (rather than having all of them to begin with).

I think it satisfies pretty much everyone's style eg. gothic, artsy, hip hop look, punk, a Japanese-y bright colours neon look, the skater look..!

It still keeps to lots of the same Sims basics eg. you buy furnishings for your flat, you need to satisfy your bladder sometimes etc.

And if you want to get technical: I think the graphics are pretty good and the whole design of the surroundings like buildings, furnishings etc have a whole different look to other Sims I've seen and they really fit in with the 'city look'.

I've already said loads and I still know I've missed some other stuff out that I can't remember!
All in all I think it's a great game for those who want to play as a very different type of Sim game and get bored quickly with raising a family, clearing up mess on the floor, always having to watch TV to keep your fun levels high...blah blah.

I always found with the other Sims that there were never very motivating goals and it got dull so quickly.

But with The Urbz you have definite goals and it's just..SO much more fun!

Basically, I would definitely recommend this game for all the reasons above and also it's just so different to any other game.

So really there's nothing stopping you from purchasing this fandabbolous game you sausage!

Absolutely great!!
I think urbz is such a brilliant game. Its urban style is very different from the usual sims and sims 2, and most of it is set in the city instead of your own home.There are loads of different places to go, money to make and people to socialize with. Make your sim happy, make sure their style is right and see if you can get into v.i.p!!!
Definately get this game!
