SOS band brings back memories
Having spent the vast majority of my youth buying the soul and dance of the time I was intrigued with this compilation. This album captures the very best of the SOS band. I would recommend this to all who remember the eighties soul era. Enjoy !!

Almost Complete Compilation but missing NO ONE'S GONNA LOVE YOU
This is an excellent "Greatest Hits" compilation, but not entirely complete as it omits the amazing song: NO ONE'S GONNA LOVE YOU. However, where the "Best Of" released in 1995 failed for only containing 10 tracks (and thus excluding a few of my favourites), this later compilation makes up for it by including a whopping 15 tracks. I have both this compilation and the "Best Of" (which includes NO ONE'S GONNA LOVE YOU - thankfully!) and if you love The S.O.S. Band, then it's certainly worth investing in both of them if you can find them as they include different versions of most of the tracks on each release (although THE FINEST, HIGH HOPES and SANDS OF TIME are exactly the same on both releases).

On the whole, a very worthy compilation and I'm sincerely grateful that these tracks have been released on CD. The S.O.S. Band was an amazing group and I think this compilation reflects this very well indeed.

A Real chunk of dance floor history
Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and Girls, for your listening pleasure we have the Greatest hits of the SOS band. The sound quality is superb, with all the tracks (as the title suggests) having been remastered. This collection contains all of the bands greatest hits, although, sadly, not in their original 12" formats-but hey, we can't have everything can we.
Do yourself a favour, get out the credit card, purchase a copy, sit back, listen and ENJOY!!!!!
