Light but beautifully engineered
This head is a work of art! The weight is very low, but it feels solidly built and includes a spirit level to help get your camera level. It is very compact as the handles are short, but they tighten well and don't appear to allow any slippage. The only downside is the relatively low maximum weight (3kg) but for a SLR body and short/medium lens this shouldn't be a problem.

I have always had trouble setting up my tripod. This head has made it a dream, precise and very well made, the knobs to tighten are not fiddly in any way but are big and robust. Highly recommended

Wow - what a difference from other tripods, which I will never use again. This is professional. Takes a little bit of getting used to. There is a little spring catch under the main catch to put your plate on - this is fiddly and a little small to use if you are big fingers or arthritic ones!
Apart from that, it does everything it says it will and keeps your camera safe in all positions.
I know I will enjoy using this. The knobs that tilt the camera are safe and solid and easy to use. The tripod heights are brilliant - low and high.
Buy and you will never look back - but read the manual!!
