The Bash5
This is a great PPV

The opener is a fatal 4 way elimination match for the wwe U.S championship
John Cena vs Rene Dupree vs RVD vs Booker T
The rivalry between Cena and Booker really shows here 8/10

Luther Reigns vs Charlie Haas
A great wrestling match Luthers debut 6/10

Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero for the Cruiserweight Title
Definetly a contender for match of the year great cruiserweight action 10/10

Kenzo Suzuki vs Billy Gunn
This was probably one of the worse matches of the PPV 4/10

Sable vs Torrie Wilson
An OK womens match A dodgy ending though

Hardcore Holly vs Mordecai
A straight up power match with an almost presictable ending 5/10

Eddie Gurrero vs JBL Texas Bullrope match for the WWE Championship
A great novelty match people say JBL isnt main event quality he is 10/10

Concrete Crypt match Undertaker vs The Dudleys
One of the great PPV main events a vintage Taker Match with a shocking ending 10/10

Overall rating 10/10

A Solid Smackdown ppv4
1) John Cena vs Booker T vs RVD vs Rene Dupree - A good opener. However, at the beginning for the first ten minutes there are only ever two people in the ring, this kinda degrades the whole thing. A very solid match though - 8/10
2) Charlie Haas vs Luther Reigns - I don't like squash matches on ppv. Luther puts on an excellent outing though whilst Charlie is his usual amazing self - 7/10
3) Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero - A fantastic match, maybe even the show stealer - 10/10
4) Billy Gunn vs Kenzo Suzuki - Two squash matches on one ppv, thats bad. Especially considering Kenzo really does suck a lot as this match shows. Billy tries though to his credit - 5/10
5) Sable vs Torrie Wilson - A suprisingle decent Smackdown women's match, still not up to a raw standard match though - 6/10
6) Hardcore Holly vs Mordecai - THREE squash matches on ppv, nay. This would be the final ail in the coffin for the pale rider, as he was gone a week later. (not to be missed I might add) - 5/10
7) Eddie Guerrero vs JBL - A very good match between these two. I was surprised and angered at the ending at the time, but lets face it, JBL has improved 100% since becoming the champ. A very good match - 8/10
8) The Undertaker vs The Dudley Boyz - Although I am a huge taker fan this should not have been the main event. The match itself was pretty good but like I said the title match should always be the main event - 7/10.

All in all, a more than watchable ppv in my opinion.

The Great American what?3
The WWE decided to have 2 June Pay-Per-Views this year, with Bad Blood on the 13th, and the old WCW event, The Great American Bash on the 27th. This event suffered from a case of the matches being thrown together and not having any sort of major build-up.
Things start off with John Cena putting the US Championship on the line against Booker T, Rob Van Dam and Rene Dupree in a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match. This match could probably have been better, but usually, there are only two people in the ring at once. Alright, but not fantastic.
Match 2 is Luther Reigns VS. Charlie Haas. This was an average match, and wasn't the last.
Rey Mysterio and Chavo Guerrero are next in a half-decent Cruiserweight Championship Match. This was actually one of the best matches on the card.
Which brings us to Billy Gunn VS. Kenzo Suzuki. This all started way back on Smackdown a few days before. This was just a basic rematch.
Next up, Sable takes on Torrie Wilson. Erm.....yeah. Nuff said.
Match 6 is another last-minute match which started on Smackdown as Mordecai and Hardcore Holly battle it out. This isn't going all that well is it?
Things get better thankfully as Eddie Guerrero takes on everyone's favourite New Yorker, JBL is a Texas Bull Rope Match for the WWE Championship. Despite being tied together, the two manage to do some pretty good stuff. Like a powerbomb through a table. Best match on the card definately.
Last but certainly not least with this undercard is the first ever Concrete Crypt Match which sees The Undertaker take on The Dudley Boyz. If The Deadman doesn't "do the right thing", Paul Bearer gets buried in a concrete crypt. Not really a great main event, but the ending is surprising.
All in all, you should only buy this PPV if you are a big fan, or you want to see JBl and Eddie Guerrero's bloody battle.
