Bargain!!5
Seriously, this is one of the most fun games I've played recently - and much better than many of the full priced games that have recent come out. The graphics are great (can't beleive people have a problem with cel shading as I think it looks great!) but it's the frantic gameplay that makes this stand out from the crowd. I can't see how it can be so much better on the gamecube because the graphics are already stunning on the PS2 but make sure you buy this anyway! It's funny, crazy, stylish & it's not a walk in the park (but not as hard as many people make out...on the PS2 anyway) and a right bargain!

I would say it's more a side scrolling beat'em up than a platform game (but there are some really good and sometimes challenging puzzles & platform-ey sections) very much like an overblown double dragon..on drugs...with a bucket of paint splashed all over it & wrapped in Xmen comics after watching the Matrix & power Rangers for hours on end (but in a good way!)

Make sure you buy this game!!

At last - the best platform game I've every played (uptil now only on the GC) has finaly arrived on PS2. I cannot stress enough how completely engaging, frantic and frankly excellent this game is. Don't let its "platform" mantra either a) put you off or b) make you think this is just for the pre-teen age groups. This game is whack full of challenging levels, brilliant visual effects and head-scratching brain teasers.

The sound effects, voice overs and over all "mock retro" style of the game make you feel funky just to be playing it.

Joe is just your average movie geek with a woody for superheroes. When his girlfriend is kidknapped during a movie date - and actually pulled into the movie - Joe leaps through the silver screen himself to rescue her. Along the way Joe picks up some of the coolest moves and abilities you could hope to have. Mach-speed, Slow-Mo, Zoom-in and stylised "super poser" effects and loads others. Stuff the Matrix - this game is what "bullet time" was invented for. Buy it - and play it over and over again. You'll be glad you did.

Viewtifully Addictive!5
When I first put the DVD in the PS2 I wasn't sure about the quality of this game. Six hours later when I finally managed to get a break I was. This is one of the best games I've played in the recent years. Intense action, graphically astonishing and with a bit of tactics to defeat the stronger enemies. Basically, more addictive than chocolate. It is not particularly long, but definitely worth the money.

Just a suggestion BUY IT!
