The best ska-punk album you'll buy
Having seen Feable Weiner supporting Bowling for Soup, I was impressed at how well a support band had done to rescue the live act from the memory of the astonishingly bad 'The Feds' - they were terrible. But, as they left the stage and Feable Weiner emerged, you got a good feeling about it. Sure enoughh, they were great, so I bought a CD on the way out. However, it was not until I got home and listened to it again and again that I truly appreciated its brilliance. This is for more than one reason - not only is the music itself brilliant, but so is the variety. All other ska-punk albums I own are quite monotonous and get boring and annoying after a while, but with Dear Hot Chick, there is an endless amount of different music styles. From the high-pitched, happy opener San Deem Us Ready, through to the harder yet still light-hearted Strawberry Debutant (my personal favourite), and trailing off into the slower, more feely U Minus Cool. All the songs are magnificently catchy but at the same time musically brilliant. Buy it now and you'll never regret it.
A CD for all the family
This is another amazing Doghouse records discovery. Featuring huge hooks and powerful pop-punk riffs. Never fails to cheer me up! If your into happy pop-punk, or you like such bands as The All-American rejects and other Doghouse bands then this is for you. And as stated on the CD cover: You'd have to be extremely stupid not to enjoy this album. This album is brilliant! But hey, don't trust me, go buy it yourself! you wont be dissapointed!
My New Favourite Band
I chanced upon these guys and bought the CD on hearing San Deem Us Ready. I have bought a couple of CDs on the basis of hearing one track and have mostly been sorely disappointed. This is one exception that I have to make, and the CD hasn't left my player since I bought it. The songs are fun and put me in a good mood every time I hear it. If you like All-American Rejects or any other fun pop-punk band I seriously recommend this. Buy it!
