Customer Reviews

Extremely short2
I was very disappointed when I received this video to discover that the workout on it is only 25 minutes long. As I understand, this DVD and the strength and flexibility ones are all just very short sessions made to accompany each other. These would be much better presented together in one DVD - rather than charging £9.99 for each separately. I notice that for Region 1 there is a 'strength and flexibility' DVD that combines two of the three, unfortunately not available to people in the UK without a multi-region player.

Also, I got this DVD hoping that it could deepen my practice and challenge my flexibility as someone who has practised for a long time. Unfortunately again, the box and review do not point out that this DVD is part of a 'Power Yoga for Beginners' series (only mentioned in the DVD menu page). Although I do not think this would be appropriate for beginners - he moves to through the postures too quickly, as if he is really trying to squeeze them into the 25 minutes - there is also very little included here that is not in the complete workout in the Total Body DVD - one that I would recommend much more.

The only way this DVD will be useful is for people who have very little time available and need to fit in a very quick yoga session. It's just a pity that is not made clear on the box or review, and a greater pity that they did not combine the three short sessions into one DVD.

emotionless2
I found this DVD quite dissappointing and as a result I have not used it.
One of the things I love about gaiam dvds is the loving and caring way in which the yogis show you how to get the best out of the asanas chosen.
Sadly this one is very "hum drum".
There is no interview with Rodney Yee - something which I would usually watch beforehand to get me into the spirit of yoga. Also he seems to just get on with it in a very machanical sort of way. -Shame, but I have others.

Power Yoga5
If you're a busy person; love yoga; have tight hamstrings and no forward flexion then this is an excellent purchase. Have done it four times in 2 weeks and am already noticing the difference!
