Customer Reviews

more than i expected (in a good way!)5
I decided to buy studio MX as I was using it in uni and thought "oh I wish I had more time on this computer to do.. well everything that was going on in my head" so I looked on Amazon and there it was the student edition, but wait what's that below it? the same product with a free book ... well all my birthdays seem to have come at once. when I received it I was expecting to have to send my details to macromedia to get a serial no. NO NEED everything in the box, a cd and serial no. on the sleeve. Then the bestest part ever IT COMES WITH FLASH PRO TOO. I don't know if this is a limited offer but the free book alone is great to use to learn from and as a reference.
The student edition has no problems, my friend at uni said there were some issues and instability but I pointed out to him that he needed to download the updates and now his works perfectly too. Everyone's Happy. If you really are in two minds about buying it, then all I can say is you'll probably buy it within two months (I was the same), it is a must have.

Fantastic value for money but where's the Flash Pro?4
I bought this for my husband who is studying various web design courses at college (which includes the Macromedia suite of tools). Whilst the price is obviously phenomenal....Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash for £200 - who is going to sniff at that - I wonder if we would have been better off just getting the version for £171 instead. They both come with Flash, and the only reference to the Flash Pro version in the box is a piece of paper that directs you to Macromedia stores to BUY IT for extra money. Seems like Amazon/Macromedia got circa £37 for a piece of paper...wow wonder if they sell ice to eskimo's too.
