Customer Reviews
Very pleasantly surprised.
I am very impressed with the DVD. It is a very good workout set to club style music. It is like a proper aerobics class.
When I bought it I was half expecting to be so unimpressed that I would have to return it in disgust, as I had a feeling it would be designed mostly as a novelty DVD to titillate, rather than a serious fitness DVD. It is designed to be sexy, but it is done in a fun way and does not detract from the workout (quite a few hip thrusting movements and a few shimmies in a low cut top, but you can really feel it working!)
The workout is split into sections so you can choose which ones you do- at the moment I am pretty unfit so I was unable to do the high energy section, but I did the normal aerobic section. The moves are easy to pick up, and the workout is physically demanding whilst still being fun to do. The music is suitably energetic to suit the programme, unlike other dvds I've seen.
I recommend it highly, especially if you like club music, and have found other fitness dvds too slow, boring, complicated or not demanding enough.
The most effective workout video
I decided to get fit after putting on about a stone when I was out of work. Tried machines, gyms, pilates and nothing kept my interest. This workout is fantastic. It took a few goes to get the hang of the moves but after a few sessions, I could feel my waist and bingo-wings trimming up and a reduction in muffin-tops! It's fab for fat-burning but better still, you learn some basic salsa moves and dance steps. The only down-side is that it is 1.5 hours and although it comes in sections, you only feel like you have worked up a real sweat if you do them all. But overall, the best exercise vid I have ever used.
fun 2 do but hard 2 catch the moves
I was looking for a fitness DVD which had a dance theme with it and would actually inspire me to do it time and time again which this DVD does.
I had no expectations of this DVD so came into it open minded, it comes in
a)10 min warm-up - 2 get your body working and ready for the oncoming sections
b). 20 min dance section - exhausting but well worth it,
c). 20 min hi-energy dance section – very high paced, iv not actually tried this out as im 2 out of shape but hope 2 get better physically 4 me 2 tackle this
d). 10 mins bums and tums – this consists of the things we used 2 do at school press ups, sit-ups but again tries 2 work out places of your body that you didn’t even know you had
e). 15 min cool down – a good chill out 2 de-stress you, nice music
Deanne is a nice perky instructor that doesn’t try to patronise you only fault is that she doesn’t explain the moves so im moving back and forth looking rather hopeless, but i can understand that after a couple of tries you’ll pick up the moves so it wont eat away your time listening to her explain the moves time and time again
so all round id say its a good DVD to get if you want to have a good time, get fit/toned/lose weight (along with a sensible diet) but most of all actually want to get home and do this DVD rather than saying to yourself that you’ll do it tomorrow when you know you wont
i absolutely recommend it
