    Excellent5
This is an excellent tablet that integrates into the likes of Photoshop very easily. I moved up from a much smaller tablet and while the desktop footprint of this device takes a little getting used to (And some major desktop tidy-up work) it is well worth the effort.

Notice that I downloaded the latest drivers from Wacom rather than installing from the supplied CD. I did this after reading advice on the web and it has been problem free for me.

The installation is quick and requires a reboot when finished, and I found (On two machines) that the first time I rebooted after driver installation it takes a little while for the tablet driver to load and be ready for the tablet. However, on subsequent reboots this does not seem to be the case and the driver is ready and waiting as soon as Windows has started.

The size of the tablet means that using the pen in place of a mouse is much easier to get used to (This wasn't the case on a tablet half the size). The included mouse worked first time and is just as good as my desktop mouse, although I find it counter-productive to pick it up and place it on the tablet when I want to use it.

I use the tablet only for artwork, so I am not replacing my mouse with it, although I can see no reason why you couldn't just use the table, it would certainly be easy enough to get used to.

The tablet itself is well made and sits very firmly where its placed, with no slipping and sliding, and the configurable buttons (Which can be set to accept any keystroke combination) make using it within applications a pleasure. The scroll/zoom sliders are easy to use and work very well, and can be set up so you can use the pen as well as a finger to activate them.

All in all this tablet is well worth the money.

    A designers' dream come true!5
I bought my Intuos3 A5 tablet about a month ago and I'm absolutely in love with it! The A5 size copes perfectly with my large Apple 23" display and it takes up very little desk space. I'm a designer by profession and do hours photo, illustration and layout work every day and the pen/tablet combination has not let me down yet. Ergonomically it is far more comfortable than a traditional mouse which is a real bonus when you spend long hours in front of a computer. Also, don't be fooled into thinking that graphic tablets work only in Photoshop and Illustrator. I find I'm far more productive when laying out work using InDesign and Quark than I was with a mouse. The pen does take time to get use to but once you get the hang of it you'll never go back to a mouse.

    Brilliant - better than I had imagined5
I am an old school paper and paint kind of an artist and wasn't quite sure how I would feel using a tablet. Well it has certainly got me hooked.

There were no problems with the setup, everything installed perfectly, I then downloaded the latest drivers and after a quick restart was away in Photoshop. The tablet is brilliant for drawing masks, etc on photographs and is really almost too easy to use compared to struggling with a mouse for so long.

The supplied mouse with the tablet is excellent and I have actually packed my standadr mouse away for good!!!

I was worried that I may want the larger A4 sized tablet but I have found the drawing area on the A5 to be just right, still allowing you to use a fair bit of arm movement. The customisable buttons and scroll strips are a real treat to have. You need not go near the keyboard when using photoshop if you set them up properly.

The free corel software is ok but uses a lot of CPU overhead, plus if you already have photoshop it isn't in the same league.

I would buy this product again.
