Acer AL1914ms 19" TFT LCD Monitor 12ms
Very good quality monitor, looks great, nice narrow bezel and neat unobtrusive buttons with easy to use menu ....

The set up was incredibly easy out of the box and up and running within five minutes.

It has a great picture at 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hz and 32bit colour with a 12ms refresh. No problems playing games (Generals Zreo Hour), nice and bright I had considered buying a 17" monitor but I'm glad I went for the larger screen. Very easy to use for the internet with brilliantly clear text.

The powersupply is built in and it comes supplied with a european as well as a UK power lead (also a VGA cable to connect to your pc, and a audio lead to connect to your soundcard).

The bad points, very little, I have not tried the internal speakers so can not comment on them and the range of movement of the monitor is limited but I have no problem with that.

The icing on the cake is that there are no faulty pixels. To sum up a super monitor at an excellant price delivered as promised.

It has a great picture at 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hz and 32bit colour. No streaks playing games (EVE, Doom3 etc), nice and bright and best of all - its huge!!!.

The powersupply is built in and it comes supplied with a european as well as a UK power lead (also a VGA cable to connect to your pc, and a audio lead to connect to your soundcard).

The bad points are that the speakers arent great .. but built in ones are always basic ... the range of movement of the monitor is quite small, but I think all LCD's are like that.. I have no problem with it though...

Great TFT
I bought this screen to go with my first home-built gamer pc and I have to agree with the comments by the other reviewers - it's a fantastic screen and amazing value when you consider the size and the refresh rate (12ms - important when playing games!). Most other 19" screens are much more expensive and won't give you the same performance (compare the specs).

My only (very minor) criticism is the in-built speakers as they are basic; although I wasn't expecting them to provide excellent sound quality. If you are into games/music/movies buy yourself a decent set to go with it.

All things considered, if you are looking for a great 19" monitor - you'll be hard-pushed to find a better one than this...
