Album Description
Milk It is Death in Vegas's long-awaited best-of album, which spans their career to date. Following the release of Satan's Circus, which has taken the band in a whole new direction though their self funded label DRONE, this best-of celebrates their success with Concrete Records from 1997-2002.

The quality of their song writing is undeniable--from top 10 hit "Aisha" through to songs such as "Dirge", "Scorpio Rising" and "Dirt". The range of guests alone shows the level of esteem the band are held in – talents as diverse as Iggy Pop, Paul Weller, Hope Sandoval (Mazzy Star), Liam Gallagher, Dot Allison and Bobby Gillespie have all lined up to guest on DIV songs. Disc 1 of "Milk It" features 11 tracks from across the DIV albums The Contino Sessions, Dead Elvis and Scorpio Rising, while disc 2 features an inspired range of remixes.

CD Description
This two CD set brings together most of the dance duo's output whilst signed to Sony. The first CD consists mainly of singles and album tracks which feature guest vocals from the likes of Iggy Pop, Bobby Gillespie and Liam Gallagher, whilethe second CD brings together remixes by acts such as Dave Clark, Slam, and The Polyphonic Spree.

Give the second CD to your worst enemy
I'm really sorry to give a 4 star rating. The first CD (which contains a good selection of DIV's work so far) is great. But the second one, which contains the remixes is awful. Give it to your worst enemy, to your ex who broke your heart. All, yes ALL, the remixes are of the kind that make you wonder how the material of the first CD can turn into this kind of crap. Buy it anyway since the remixes CD is a bonus one, but stick to original versions of the songs.

Slight Disappointment
Whilst the tracks from Dead Elvis and Scorpio Rising are probably apt with regards to the best ones from each album, to have more selections from these albums as opposed to The Contino Sessions is unfathomable! If you want the real best of, buy The Contino Sessions in it's entirety, their best work without doubt, near perfect from start to finish. The one track from this album I do not like much is Soul Auctioneer with Bobby Gillespie singing - I feel this song made it due to the guest vocal as opposed to the actual value of the song, which isn't very good.
