Graham Norton Effect DVD is Ineffective.
I'd EXTREMELY high hopes for this DVD when I ordered it, looking at the length listed. Almost three hours. Considering how few episodes Comedy Central produced in the states I thought, "Right, deduct time for commercials. Cor blimey, that's the whole bloody series!"
WRONG!
There are far too many animated interludes with house music that would make Rob Gretton gouge his ears out if he weren't already dead and not nearly enough of Graham being the best thing to come out (pun intended) of Ireland since the Saw Doctors. The "No Time to Talk About" segments that closed each episode and had me laughing to the point of tears/incontinence every time are basically MIA, reduced to maybe five minutes. Compared with other DVDs of his Channel 4 series and the Roundhouse Live DVD, it's an insult that viewers are denied more of his poofy, endearingly mean-spirited comedic genius than they are given. Avoid like you would a Bush supporter.

Hilarious DVD - superb, very funny
This is a great DVD, very funny - as hilarious as anything Norton has done. Nearly three hours of material from his USA chat show with guests like Sharon Stone, Josh Hartnett, etc. Hysterical. A great value DVD.
