Synopsis
Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are finally together on screen in this riveting story about an intense rivalry between expert thief Neil McCauley (De Niro) and volatile cop Vincent Hanna (Pacino). McCauley will stop at nothing to do what he does best and neither will Hanna, even though it means destroying everything around them, including the people they love. With a solid supporting cast that includes Val Kilmer, Jon Voight, Ashley Judd, and Natalie Portman, HEAT is a truly epic crime story.

Stone cold classic
Featuring cinema's greatest ever shoot-out, this remains among my favourite films of all time. Beyond the expertly staged action set pieces, lies a multi-layered plotline with a teeming cast of believable characters and mood of tragic portent. The existential torment of the charcters is played out against an LA landscape that is itself a character - indeed the city has never looked as stunning and alluring.
The disc comes jam-packed with extras to please the die-hard fan, including a series a exhaustive documentaries charting the creation of this landmark movie.
A visceral and emotional thriller that stands alone as a stone cold classic.
The HEAT is ON!!!
An absolute CLASSIC! Still the best crime/cop thrillers ever made by far.The film has a mystic aura to it,..visually breathtaking and extremely beautiful to watch. Every character in the movie has depth and weight. All this and an ending so moving it stays permenantly fixed in the mind. Not fogetting those action sequences,..exquisite acting by the best in the buisness,....simply AWESOME.
The best cops and robbers film i've ever seen.
Heat was a film i wasn't sure about at first mainly because of the length but when i watched it you lose track of time and before you know it the film is over.
This has to be the best cops and robbers film i have ever seen and one of the best films ever.
All the actors and actresses put in powerful performances and i pick out Al Pacino and Robert Di Niro as my favourites but even Val Kilmer was great infact everybody was great.
I won't give any of the story away but just a quick summary:very clever crooks vs a very clever police lieutenant something has to give!.
