Waste of money
Shocking. I connected this to my tv (brand new samsung), and plugged in a sony DVD surround sound kit, and sound from my laptop.
When all items were plugged in, and the switch left on the surround sound kit, the sound only came out of 1 speaker. When I had only the surround sound plugged in (via the skytronic), the sound came out of all speakers.
In other words, if 2 things were plugged in, the sound quality was rubbish, so I had to unplug the other one. - Therefore it is pointless.
Complete waste of money, and I can't be bothered to send it back because of the hassle.
Skytronic Rubbish
A poorly constucted piece of trash. Nothing fitted correctly. Even when I managed to get everything jammed together it didn't work, probably due to connections still not being properly made. Didn't return it as that was more trouble than it was worth. I subsequently purchased a splitter from Philex, which worked perfectly.
Fantastic Item
I purchased this item and plugged it all in to my HD equip (as i am able to get 480P through scart) Sound and picture is perfect, all displaying at 480P without flaws.
Don't know what the others are complaining about perhaps not setup properly?
Worth the money as it is a great solution for having too many devices for the amount of scart inputs.
