Editorial Reviews

Album Description
• Funkadelic’s final LP from Westbound saw them score another Top 20 hit as P-Funk madness started to take over the R&B charts.

• Includes the R&B hit ‘UnDisco Kidd’, which sees George Clinton and Bootsy define the Funkadelic sound that would peak with ‘One Nation Under A Groove’ two years later. The CD package also includes the rare 45 edit of this track.

• Includes in-depth notes by Funkadelic expert Dean Rudland, including information taken from exclusive interviews with band member Fuzzy Haskins and the band’s press officer Tom Vickers.

• The booklet fully reproduces Pedro Bell’s distinctive cartoon artwork, and features period memorabilia and photographs.

Typo?5
It's a very good Funkadelic album....er....sorry to be so vague, but I'm a little confused about something in the sleeve notes regarding the title track. Let me quote..."It can be looked at in two ways, either as the weirdness that defines Funkadelic or as a time filler. Certainly it isn't there to create a pop masterpiece, and yet (Bernie) Worrell is , as ever, right on top of his game, so it is not a waste."
Oh, I SEE... there are a couple of typos...Take out the "n't" after "Certainly it is" and take out the word "pop". Yeah!!! "Tales of Kidd Funkadelic" is a masterpiece, a brain-melting epic classic that represents and defines Funkadelia as handed down to mankind by the Star Child....Oops, sorry about that. I just get a bit carried away when people who are paid to get things right get it wrong.
Well, I suppose anbyody can make a typnig error.
And everything else on this album is worthy, yeay worthy!
Do not be without this album. We repeat - Do not be without this album.
