Customer Reviews

Incompatible with newest IPods2
I recently upgraded my iPod to a Classic and the camera connector will not work with the Classic. It works really well on iPods up to and including iPod with Video - beware if you have or are thinking of getting a newer iPod

Does not work for me1
I bought this device to download photos from various cameras (Canon S3, Canon compact and Olympus DSLR) onto a recent colour-screen iPod. It does not work with any of them. The iPod recognises the device, but never recognises that a camera is attached. The instructions are very simple, but there is absolutely no help in resolving the fairly major problem that the device does not work - you just get a "card not inserted" error message, with no indications of how to fix it.

This thing was a complete waste of money from my perspective - I'd have been better off buying a couple more spare memory cards for the cameras. Be warned - this device is *very* selective about which cameras/iPods it will choose to work with, regardless of the claims made on Apple's publicity material.

Still, judging from other comments, I guess I'm saving a little energy and carbon emissions by not having to re-charge the Pod constantly every time I use the camera connector, eh?

Does not work with iPod Classic1
Does not work with iPod Classic. Apple staff at Regent Street store said it would. They don't sell any other type of camera adaptor. I feel cheated.
