Return to form!
The dreaded phrase 'return to form' was thrown around a lot when this was released.But you know what? It was a return to form. Lyla was the best single since Stand By Me.Also, Noel Gallagher seemed to have slightly diversified his influences,with the two highlights clearly inspired by the Velvet Underground (Mucky Fingers) and The Kinks (The Importance Of Being Idle).
