Customer Reviews
Wow!
Haven't got this album yet, but if you go to www.purevolume.com/thestartingline, you can listen to it! It's fantastic, the variation of song style is one of the key features of this album. New ideas are combined with classic Starting Line riffs/melodies!! It's just so good! When it's released go buy it dudes!
I only recently got into these guys like 6 months ago, a friend introduced them to me and I was blown away, by the album "Say it like you mean it," if you haven't got this one buy it!!!
easy to judge
If your a fan of The starting line, then from the start of this album its not what you've been expecting. the catchy punk-pop riffs and melodys have somewhat gone. it's seems as though they have jumped the the band waggon and joined the "emo" crowd. I, myself was disapointed when i first go this, but i stayed true to the band and lisened through. you know what? i actually enjoyed it, the sheer brililance of the lyrical content is enough for you to love this album. just listen to this all the way through and dont judge it from the off. you'll find yourself loving this cd.
U gotta lurve this album!!!!
I'm sorry, but I completely disagree with the 'music fan' who said this album signalled the end of The Starting Line. I too loved 'say it like you mean it', so it would've been easy for me to have been disappointed with this album, but I so was not! It is by far one of the catchiest albums I've heard for ages, and quite often a song from it is stuck in my head at work. Yet despite its catchiness, it does not get boring! I would consider all the tracks to be strong, but personal favourites for me would have to be 'bedroom talk', 'surprise surprise' and 'b list'. If u r having second thoughts about buying this album - don't, it rocks, and u certainly won't be served by a band member in mcdonalds anytime soon. I'm seeing them in brighton in september - cannot wait. P.S Kenny Vasoli is hot!!!
