Customer Reviews
this doesn't work
After connecting two devices (Wii and satellite) it appears that the selection switch between the two devices doesn't work. Therefore in order to get the Wii to work I have to pull out the satellite scart from this selector. Obviously this is a bit annoying as it should just be a matter of pushing the button. On the plus side at least I don't have to keep pulling the tv out to switch between the two scart leads.
Gone to the rubbish bin
I was wondering why the corresponding 3 way scart from Philex got such bad reviews and the 2 way not so bad ones. Anyway I decided to buy the 2 way one.
As soon as I connected it, I realised that only 1 of the 2 sockets was working, with either setting of the selection switch. I have tried many devices (satellite, dvd, video), so the problem is definitely with the Philex scart. On top of that, it is very hard (almost impossible) to take out the lead from the only working socket.
I can't be bothered to return this to Amazon for a £5.99 refund, it goes directly to the rubbish bin and will not buy from this brand before.
Ok so far
For the price this is a reasonable product. Cheap plastic casing however. Switch seems to work perfectly to allow input from two devices. Impossible to say for definite but the picture quality just doesn't seem as sharp as via individual cables. I'll know more when I upgrade the input scart leads.
Overall, handy product, inexpensive.
